Dutch artist Bert Simons has created a 3D paper model of his own head. According to his website, the project is an individual effort at achieving posterity, a way to remain in the world after death. After several models and refinements, the Simons has managed to create an unsettling resemblance in paper. You can even print out the pieces and construct your own version: a sort of lightweight, modern-day bust for the living room.
